These presentations were devoted to experimental studies of human language broadly defined: they covered topics pertinent to psychololingustics, neurolinguistics, cognitive neuroscience, experimental phonetics and related fields. Our main aim was to bring together researchers and students working on language for an event that cut across disciplines giving a snapshot of the current state-of-the-art in the field and encourage new contacts, ideas and collaborations. We are pleased to say that the meeting was a huge success and would like to thank all participants for making this happen.

The meeting was hosted by the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University (SPU), and co-organised by SPU, Medical Research Council Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit (MRC CBSU, Cambridge) and the Psychology Department of the University of Glasgow.

Click here to view all abstracts of meeting presentations.

The meeting was broadcast live over the internet.
